Mark Sheehan focuses his practice on issues arising under the Investment Company Act of 1940, and the Securities Exchange Acts of 1933 and 1934. Mr. Sheehan represents investment company and investment adviser clients in all facets of their operations and advises them on their legal requirements.
Mr. Sheehan works closely with open-end and closed-end investment companies, unregistered investment vehicles (such as hedge funds) and investment advisers. He also works extensively with master-feeder and multiple class structures in the context of investment companies.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon in 1995, Mr. Sheehan worked as an associate corporate counsel at Federated Investors in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was also an associate with a Washington, D.C., law firm, where he practiced in the 1940 Act area. |
