Kevin Boyle represents large and small companies, nonprofit and religious organizations, and individuals in business, real estate and banking matters. His practice concentration includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, public and private bond financing, real estate, and nonprofit and insurance-related matters.
Mr. Boyle chaired the firm’s Business Department from 2004 to 2012, overseeing and managing more than 60 attorneys across Stradley Ronon’s seven offices. During that time, the department grew significantly not only in numbers but also in practice areas, geographic reach and in the overall sophistication and complexity of the matters it handles. He is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and Management Committee and serves as the firm’s Financial Partner.
Mr. Boyle was named to SmartCEO magazine’s 2012, 2011 and 2010 Legal Elite. The list, chosen by the publication’s readers in the Greater Philadelphia area, is comprised of the “go-to attorneys” for business legal advice.
Some of the more prominent matters which Mr. Boyle has handled include representing:
- a wireless technology developer in: (i) granting a worldwide, royalty-bearing technology license to a cell phone manufacturer based in Korea; and (ii) in the acquisition of an equity interest in that manufacturer
- a provider of consulting, outsourcing and investment services in its acquisition of a provider of human resource information, data and solutions
- outdoor advertising companies in the sale of their assets to Fortune 500 companies in two of the largest such transactions in the industry in Pennsylvania
- various nonprofit organizations in conjunction with the merger of nonprofits and the acquisition of the assets of a nonprofit
- for profit and nonprofit organizations in restructuring and reorganizing their corporate structure and operations
- a nonprofit organization in the conversion of a former high school into affordable housing for seniors, funded in part by Section 42 Federal Tax Credits
- a number of lenders in connection with the financing of commercial real estate, including office buildings, medical office buildings, hotels, industrial and warehouse facilities, residential developments and shopping centers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware
