Antranig Garibian focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, product liability and insurance coverage throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York. In addition to extensive litigation experience, Mr. Garibian has also mediated and negotiated resolutions in court-ordered alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Mr. Garibian’s recent client representations include:
- internal investigations designed to advise and assist companies, boards of directors and board committees
- WYO insurers in claims brought under the National Flood Insurance Program
- general contractors and subcontractors against a broad range of claims of personal injury and property damage
- religious and nonprofit organizations facing complex, high-profile damage claims
- medical service providers in breach of contract claims
- corporations in actions related to corporate officer indemnification contracts
- landlord/tenant actions, including both commercial and residential properties
Mr. Garibian is a frequent author and lecturer and has spoken at conferences and seminars on a broad variety of litigation issues such as the application of the statute of limitations to latent injury cases, theories of liability targeting premises owners, efficiency in discovery processes and the removal of civil actions to federal court, as well as legal developments in Delaware corporate law and Pennsylvania product liability law.
While in law school, Mr. Garibian received multiple awards including the Barrister’s Award, Outstanding Oral Advocacy in Advanced Trial Advocacy and Distinguished Performance in product liability and criminal law. He also served as a member of the Temple University Disciplinary Committee. Mr. Garibian currently volunteers as a judge for high school moot court competitions in the Philadelphia area.
Mr. Garibian is fluent in Armenian and proficient in Russian and French. He serves on various committees and in several leadership roles on the local, national and international level in the Armenian Church. He regularly speaks throughout the country to communities, and meets with local political, civic and community leaders regarding human rights issues in the Middle East. |
