| April 13, 2006 PHILADELPHIA – Frances Gauthier, an attorney in Stradley Ronon’s Wilmington office, was recently named chair of the firm’s Diversity Group, a new position aimed at increasing diversity efforts.
As Diversity Chair, Gauthier will work with the Diversity Group to establish goals for the firm’s hiring committee; develop a strategy to recruit diverse entry level and lateral attorney candidates; review work assignments, mentoring relationships and marketing opportunities to help improve retention of diversity attorneys; and create a plan to more effectively market and promote diversity attorneys to firm clients and prospects.
Gauthier represents private and public companies in corporate and commercial matters including corporate governance, alternative entity law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. She serves on the executive committee of the Delaware State Bar Association and is a special advisor to the Association’s Multicultural Judges and Lawyers Section. Gauthier also co-chairs the American Bar Association’s Section of Business Law Fellows and Ambassadors Committee and is secretary of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Delaware Chapter.
