Sasso was recently honored with the American Jewish Committee’s prestigious Judge Learned Hand Award for his outstanding leadership in the legal profession and the community. The award is presented each year to a member of the Philadelphia Bar whose achievements exemplify the high principles and noble traditions associated with Judge Learned Hand, who served as Senior Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for more than 25 years.
