| July 13, 2010 Stradley Ronon partner Patrick Kingsley presented, “Avoiding Nursing Home Litigation,” at the Pennsylvania Association for Nonprofit Homes for the Aging (PANPHA) Annual Conference and Exposition. Kingsley discussed recent trends in litigation of nursing home claims, including techniques for care providers to minimize the risk of litigation. Attended by more than 1,000 professionals in the nonprofit senior services industry, the PANPHA Annual Conference provided educational sessions on current trends and public policy initiatives relating to the long-term care of elderly Pennsylvanians.
Kingsley has tried more than 40 cases across the country in several different forums, involving diverse legal claims and fact patterns. In addition, he has tried both jury and non-jury cases and has represented clients in arbitrations, mediations and hearings before administrative law judges and referees. Kingsley is co-chair of the firm’s construction practice group. He also handles a wide variety of complex commercial disputes.
