Stradley Ronon partner Michael Mundt will co-present “Exchange Traded Funds” at the Philadelphia Bar Association Investment Companies Committee meeting on April 19. The meeting will discuss new developments relating to the regulation of exchange-traded funds.
Mundt assists clients with complex legal issues under federal securities laws, with a particular focus on exchange-traded funds. He has worked on a wide array of exemptive and interpretive issues under the Investment Company Act of 1940, including exemptive orders to permit the operations of index-based and actively managed ETFs. Mundt also has worked extensively on fund-of-funds issues and on relief for various types of affiliated transactions. Prior to his work at Stradley Ronon, he was in charge of one of the exemptive application offices in the Division of Investment Management at the SEC.
