Stradley Ronon Attorneys to Present at National Business Institute Real Estate Seminars

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon attorneys Eric M. Hurwitz and Thomas M. Brodowski will present at the National Business Institute’s “Advanced Issues in Real Estate Law” seminar on April 10 in Atlantic City, N.J. Topics for their presentation include loss mitigation solutions, pitfalls in foreclosure procedures and the effects of bankruptcy on foreclosure.

Hurwitz will also speak at NBI’s “Legal Descriptions, Title Insurance and Surveys in Real Estate Transactions” seminar on April 17 in Philadelphia. His presentation, “Title Insurance Dissection,” will address title standards, the title insurance commitment, and the key provisions of title policies, including exclusions and exceptions.

Hurwitz is a partner in Stradley Ronon’s mortgage and lending litigation practice group. He has extensive experience defending claims against banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, auto finance companies, debt collection companies and other financial services companies. He also represents clients in resolving title insurance disputes, contested lien priorities, class actions involving financial products and services, and bankruptcy-related claims including alleged stay and discharge violations.

As a litigation associate in Stradley Ronon’s Cherry Hill, N.J., office, Brodowski represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters related to consumer finance, lending and regulatory compliance. His experience includes defending mortgage lenders, servicers, and other consumer finance-related entities from claims arising under various state and federal statutes, as well as claims that arise in the context of contested foreclosures.
