Josh Shapiro focuses his practice on general corporate work, real estate and regulatory compliance.
Josh has worked in private legal practice and in government for more than a decade. He recently served on Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s transition team – a seven-person executive team that advised the governor on strategic issues between his election and his inauguration. He served as vice-chair of the Budget Deficit and Fiscal Stabilization Task Force, and worked with Chair Mary Soderberg to address the state’s looming budget deficit.
Josh currently serves as chairman of the Montgomery County Pennsylvania Board of Commissioners and has helped lead a dramatic turnaround in Montgomery County by eliminating a large budget deficit, reducing overall debt, and replenishing the County reserve fund. He has previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and as a senior aide on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
Josh serves on several state and community boards. Josh is the Chairman of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency and the Vice Chairman of the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority.
