Gina Stowe is a trial lawyer who handles a broad spectrum of complex civil litigation in both federal and state courts. Gina has a strong focus on insurance law and represents property and casualty insurers in commercial and property line coverage disputes. She also represents health, disability and long-term care insurers in claims disputes, provider reimbursement disputes, ERISA matters and class actions. In addition, she represents lenders and servicers in a wide variety of mortgage and lending disputes, such as residential and commercial foreclosures and cases arising under consumer protection and unfair trade practice laws. Gina also routinely represents clients in sophisticated business disputes, such as antitrust, intellectual property and securities fraud matters, as well as products liability, mass tort, medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury matters.
Gina’s current engagements include, among others, the representation of a managed care organization in a class action brought by ambulance providers alleging improper reimbursement; the defense of a manufacturer in a products liability action brought by a plaintiff who suffered a catastrophic injury while operating a machine manufactured by the defendant; the prosecution of a patent infringement action against a leading telecommunications provider in connection with the alleged infringement of a patented calling card technology; and the representation of a nationally appointed write-your-own insurance company in claims brought under the National Flood Insurance Program.
