Mark Villanueva represents clients - ranging from individuals to small businesses to Fortune 10 companies - in a broad array of complex commercial litigation matters. Mark litigates in the trial and appellate levels of state and federal courts, as well as before arbitration tribunals. He has worked with companies in numerous industries, including pharmaceutical, insurance, banking, energy, and health care. Mark has litigated complex insurance and reinsurance coverage actions, product liability claims, commercial contract disputes, intellectual property claims and consumer class actions.
Mark has significant experience representing clients regarding insurance coverage issues, including claims related to directors and officers liability, professional liability, employment practices liability and mass torts. In addition, Mark represents and counsels insurers, cedents and reinsurers on reinsurance claims and coverage across multiple lines of business.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Mark was a partner at another large mid-Atlantic law firm. He clerked for the Honorable Paul S. Diamond of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. While in law school, Mark served as an editor for The Catholic University Law Review.
Mark has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania's Rising Stars, and he was also recognized as one of Pennsylvania's Lawyers on the Fast Track, an award that honors the top lawyers in Pennsylvania who have made significant contributions to the legal community.
