PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Julie Murphy, co-chair of the bankruptcy, workouts and creditors’ rights practice, presented with associate Daniel Pereira at the Association of Corporate Counsel’s (ACC) 16th Annual In-House Counsel Conference on April 18 in Philadelphia.

Julie and Daniel’s session, “Dealing with Distress: An In-House Guide to Navigating Bankruptcy and Bankruptcy Alternatives as a Creditor,” provided best practices for in-house counsel when faced with a customer, vendor or other counterparty in bankruptcy or a similar insolvency proceeding.

Julie focuses her practice on the representation of clients in all aspects of financial services, from commercial finance to workouts, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. She provides advice in connection with the negotiation and documentation of commercial loan documents, maximizing recovery on troubled credit facilities, and navigating complex bankruptcy cases.
