Diversity Scholarship

Attorneys outside office

In 2017, Stradley launched the Stradley Ronon Diversity Scholarship, a program that identifies, supports, and trains exceptionally qualified diverse law students who demonstrate the characteristics of future leaders in the legal profession. Designed for rising second-year law students, the Scholarship provides recipients with financial support, ongoing mentoring, and hands-on experience working in both a law firm and corporate law department of one of Stradley’s clients. During the summer of 2017, this program provided two recipients from area law schools with a $5,000 scholarship and a paid nine-week position. The students’ summer was split between Stradley and the legal department of firm clients InterDigital and Campbell’s Soup, the in-house partners for the inaugural year.

In 2019, Stradley is partnering with the Asia Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania. The 2018 Diversity Scholarship Program recipient – Villanova law student, Rebecca Cabrera – split her summer between Stradley Ronon and the legal department of firm client AmerisourceBergen Corporation.
