Diversity Scholarship

Attorneys outside office

In 2017, Stradley launched the Stradley Ronon Diversity Scholarship, a program that identifies, supports, and trains exceptionally qualified diverse law students who demonstrate the characteristics of future leaders in the legal profession. Designed for rising second-year law students, the Scholarship provides recipients with financial support, ongoing mentoring, and hands-on experience working in both a law firm and corporate law department of one of Stradley’s clients. During the summer of 2018, this program provided a recipient from an area law school with a $5,000 scholarship and a paid position. The student’s summer was split between Stradley and the legal department of firm client and in-house partner AmerisourceBergen Corporation.

In 2019, Stradley is partnering with the Asia Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania. The 2019 Diversity Scholarship Program recipient – Temple law student, Christopher Hirokawa – will split his summer between Stradley Ronon and the legal department of firm client Macquarie Investment Management.
