Overview

Adriel Garcia is a skilled litigator and counselor with significant experience in employment and labor law, complex commercial contract litigation, securities litigation and enforcement, and construction matters. He regularly represents public and private companies, education service providers, health systems, religious organizations, and public entities of all sizes before various federal and state courts and agencies in arbitration proceedings and mediation.

Adriel has particular expertise in employment and labor matters under various federal, state, and local laws and regulations. He frequently advises employers on issues involving hiring, wage and hour compliance, policies and handbooks, accommodation requests, internal complaints and grievances, employee discipline and termination, reductions in force, union labor, drug testing, privacy, social media, and other matters involving employees. He also conducts internal investigations of varying complexity, including allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, policy violations, white-collar crime, and other workplace misconduct.

Adriel is also a member of the firm’s E-Discovery Team, developing cost-effective strategies for the preservation, collection, analysis, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) and responding to subpoenas and information requests from various federal and state agencies and self-regulatory organizations.
