Stradley Ronon Attorney Speaks at Investment Company Institute Conference

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Counsel Joan Ohlbaum Swirsky spoke at the Investment Company Institute’s conference “Will You Be Ready? Implementing the New Money Market Fund Rules” in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 4. Swirsky participated on the panel “Legal and Interpretive Challenges of the New Money Market Fund Rules,” which focused on the regulatory challenges that the new rules will present to funds, restructuring issues, new diversification requirements and tax implications.

Swirsky is a seasoned investment management attorney with a nationally respected focus on money market funds operating under Rule 2a-7 under the Investment Company Act of 1940. She authored the definitive guide on the subject area entitled “The Guide to Rule 2a-7 – A Map Through the Maze for the Money Market Professional.”
