Kevin Casey to Present at ABA’s 30th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Kevin Casey will be part of a panel discussion on “Mediating Patent Disputes –Taking a Strategic Approach” at the American Bar Association’s 30th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference on March 25 in Bethesda, Maryland. The panel will discuss strategic considerations in the decision to mediate patent matters, the timing of mediation with respect to business objectives, considerations in pre-mediation planning and the opportunities for creative dispute resolution when resolving patent disputes through a mediated process.

Casey is chair of Stradley Ronon’s intellectual property group, co-chair of its IP litigation group and an active member of the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) group. He considers ADR to be an integral part of his practice, participating in various ADR procedures as a party representative and as a neutral. Casey has counseled clients for almost 30 years in all aspects of the IP field, focusing on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, licensing and opinions. He has also been lead litigation counsel and has participated as assistant counsel in more than 60 cases.
