PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon attorneys and staff volunteered in the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia’s 24 Math Challenge, an annual contest where school-age children (grades 5-8) compete to solve math problems in a fun and competitive environment. For two nights, firm lawyers and staff members served as proctors for the event, which Stradley Ronon has sponsored for 12 consecutive years. The 24 Math Challenge asks teams from all Philadelphia PAL centers to add, subtract, multiply and divide their way to the number 24 in the shortest time.

Stradley Ronon Partner Mark J. Dorval, who sits on PAL’s board of directors, is heavily involved in the 24 Math Challenge each year. The partnership between Stradley Ronon and PAL was recognized last year as one of the Philadelphia region’s top “hands-on initiatives” at The Philadelphia Business Journal’s Corporate Giving Awards.
