Philadelphia University is a student-centered institution that prepares graduates for successful careers in an evolving global marketplace by blending the liberal arts and sciences, professional studies, interdisciplinary learning, and collaborations in and out of the classroom. Manor College is located in suburban Philadelphia and is specialized in the first two years of college, offering transfer and career-oriented programs to traditional age and adult students.

Sasso has served as chairman of Stradley Ronon since 1994. Outside of his legal practice, he is widely recognized for his civic accomplishments, including having served as chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors and as a trustee of Leo Niessen Jr. Charitable Foundation. Sasso has also received numerous recognitions and awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Legal Intelligencer and recognition as one of the “23 Most Influential Business People in Philadelphia” by the Philadelphia Business Journal – the only lawyer in private practice to be so recognized.

As counsel at Stradley Ronon, Shapiro focuses his practice on general corporate work, real estate and regulatory compliance. He is chairman of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, and has helped lead a dramatic turnaround in Montgomery County by eliminating a large budget deficit, reducing overall debt, and replenishing the County reserve fund. He has previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and as a senior aide on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
