Stradley Ronon Partners Named Best Attorneys in Business by South Jersey Biz

CHERRY HILL, NEW JERSEY – Six Stradley Ronon partners were featured in the May 2015 issue of South Jersey Biz magazine as part of the 2015 “Best Attorneys in Business” list. The chosen lawyers received high nominations from their peers in the publication’s annual search for the top legal minds in the South Jersey region.

Stradley Ronon’s selected “Best Attorneys in Business” and corresponding specialties are:

Bonner represents banks, commercial finance companies and other lenders in commercial loan transactions. His representation includes asset-based financing, acquisition financing, second lien financing, debtor-in-position financing, exit financing, general commercial financing, real estate financing and workouts.

A trial lawyer and the partner-in-charge of Stradley Ronon’s Cherry Hill, New Jersey, office, Manning represents businesses and their owners and executives in a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters. He advocates for insurers, financial services companies and manufacturers in cases involving health care and ERISA claims, lending and investment disputes, employment claims and wrongful death, and in enforcement actions by state and federal agencies.

Hurwitz is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s mortgage and lending litigation practice, and focuses his litigation practice on defending financial institutions from claims arising out of nearly every type of consumer and commercial financial product. He has extensive experience defending both single plaintiff and class-action lawsuits against banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, student lenders, credit card companies, auto finance companies, debt collection companies and other financial services institutions.

As co-chair of the firm’s publicly held companies practice group, Schoenborn advises a broad range of clients in connection with raising capital via the public and private offering of securities, SEC compliance and corporate governance matters. He also counsels companies with respect to mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies.

Silverstein is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group and co-chair of the firm’s Investment Management Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. He has extensive experience in middle-market merger and acquisition transactions, and in corporate matters involving registered investment companies, registered investment advisors and insurance companies.

Ward is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s environmental practice group, where she spends much of her practice helping clients understand the complexities of regulations at the intersection of science and law. With experience as a chemist and environmental consultant, she brings a unique perspective to assist companies – who are navigating often conflicting legal scenarios – in identifying opportunities and advantages.
