Stradley Ronon Partners Speak at PACB Future of Community Banking Conference

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partners Christopher S. Connell and William T. Mandia presented “Executive Board Governance – Roles & Responsibilities … Do You Know What You Don’t Know?” during the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers’ Future of Community Banking Conference on Sept. 9 in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania. The conference focused on changes in the financial industry and addressed strategies for future success in community banking.

Connell co-chairs Stradley Ronon’s banking practice group, focusing his practice on the representation of financial institutions and other corporate clients in a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, offerings of debt and equity securities (both public and private), initial public offerings, and securities matters for public company financial institutions. He regularly advises financial institutions with respect to various federal and state regulatory and compliance matters and other general corporate law and governance issues.

Mandia represents clients in complex commercial and class action litigation in the areas of securities, director and officer liability, merger and acquisition disputes, shareholder disputes, insurance coverage and receiverships. He also has substantial experience representing clients in connection with claims that arise under complex statutory schemes, including the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO); the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act; and federal securities laws.
