Tom Hanley and Chris Manchin Present Corporate & Securities Institute

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Thomas Hanley and Associate Christopher Manchin, along with Bryn Mawr Trust Senior Vice President and General Counsel Lori Buchanan Goldman, presented at the Association of Corporate Counsel of Greater Philadelphia’s Corporate & Securities Institute. Their presentation, “Show Me the Money! Significant Developments in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Rules on Capital Raising Transactions,” focused on recent SEC initiatives designed to facilitate capital-raising through private placements, limited public offerings and equity crowdfunding.

Hanley is chair of Stradley Ronon’s public companies practice group and co-chair of the firm’s corporate and securities practice group. He advises public and private companies on corporate and securities law issues, including capital-raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, SEC compliance and corporate litigation. He also counsels management, in-house counsel, boards of directors, board committees and investors on fiduciary duty issues, takeover defense, proxy contests/contested elections and related issues.

Manchin represents public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, securities law compliance and general corporate matters. He also provides strategic business and legal counsel to emerging growth companies and private equity investors.
