Craig Blackman Serves as Panelist at National Flood Conference

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Craig Blackman served on the conference planning committee and as a panelist at the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America’s National Flood Conference on May 17 in Washington, D.C. Blackman, along with fellow panelist Jordan Fried, Associate Chief Counsel of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Federal Insurance and Mitigation Division, discussed legal issues pertaining to the National Flood Insurance Program.

Blackman is a nationally recognized authority on the National Flood Insurance Program, and focuses his practice on a variety of insurance industry issues, including commercial and personal lines; directors and officers and errors and omission; general liability; land title; fidelity and surety; and professional, employment and products liability. He has counseled clients on primary, umbrella, excess policies and reinsurance, as well as captive, self-insured and surplus lines programs; and proof of claim/coverage analyses in receivership. He is a frequent lecturer and author on various issues affecting the insurance industry including pandemics and large-scale property catastrophes, business interruption coverage and the National Flood Insurance Program.
