Stephen Johnson Speaks at American Fraternal Alliance 2016 Executive Summit

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Insurance Financial and Regulatory Specialist Stephen J. Johnson spoke at the American Fraternal Alliance’s 2016 Executive Summit in Toronto, Ontario, on May 13. Johnson presented “The Evolving Regulatory Framework and Its Impact on Fraternals” with Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Neville Henderson. The discussion focused on regulatory changes that effect the operations of fraternals, including corporate governance disclosure, enterprise risk management, cyber risk, capital requirements and the financial examination process.

Johnson served as Deputy Insurance Commissioner for the Pennsylvania Insurance Department’s Office of Corporate and Financial Regulation from 1998-2015 where he oversaw the Bureau of Company Licensing and Financial Analysis and the Bureau of Financial Examinations. At Stradley Ronon he advises on insurance and insurer-related financial transactions with a focus on identifying and addressing insurance regulatory issues.
