Landon, who focuses her practice on data security and data management issues, discussed the potentially far-reaching consequences of New York's proposed cybersecurity regulations for financial institutions and insurers.

New York's financial and insurance companies "contract with hundreds of vendors and reviewing those contracts is going to be another burden for institutions' on top of the internal infrastructure changes they’ll need to make," said Landon.
