Sam Arena Speaks at the 2016 American Bar Association Fidelity and Surety Law Committee Fall Meeting

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Samuel J. Arena Jr. and ABA Insurance Services Senior Attorney, Deborah Duvin, spoke at the 2016 Fidelity and Surety Law Committee Fall Meeting Program, Financial Institution Bonds, on Nov. 10 in Chicago on the topic of  “Insuring Agreement (B): On Premises Coverage.” Arena and Duvin discussed the historical development of on-premises coverage, how the courts have addressed several recurrent coverage issues in the context of on-premises claims and the importance of several key exclusions that have helped shape the scope of On Premises coverage.

Arena has concentrated his practice on insurance law and fidelity and surety law for more than 33 years. A leader in Stradley Ronon’s insurance practice group and the chair of the firm’s fidelity and surety practice group, he represents insurance companies in complex insurance coverage and fidelity and surety matters. Arena has extensive experience representing insurance companies in bad-faith and extra-contractual liability claims and litigation.
