PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon, in conjunction with The Flag and General Officers Network, hosted its third program in its Corporate Directors & Officers Academy for retired and soon-to-retire admirals and generals from all military branches interested in serving as a director or officer of a public or private company. The seminar featured insight from three industry panelists with substantial expertise in corporate governance: Lieutenant General Richard Reynolds, USAF (Ret.), Sara Hays of Allegis Partners, and Stephen Brown of KPMG’s Board Leadership Center. The panel provided particular focus on the challenges senior military leaders face in identifying opportunities and making the transition from military to corporate service.

Stradley Ronon Partners Jeff McFadden, Ted Segal and Tom Hanley served on the program’s panel, entitled “Recent Developments in Corporate Governance,” discussing legal updates of importance to directors. McFadden, who is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, created the Academy after hearing from former senior military officers who were seeking opportunities to serve on corporate boards.
