PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon attorney Karl S. Myers has been appointed to a three-year term on the Governing Council of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Administrative Law Section. Myers was appointed on May 11, during the PBA’s annual meeting in Pittsburgh.

The Administrative Law Section works to develop substantive and procedural improvements to the administrative laws of the Commonwealth. The council has general supervision and control of the affairs of the section, including supervising the activities of its committees, approving all commitments and contracts and approving the section’s monetary expenditures.

Myers has personally argued and briefed dozens of precedent-setting cases before the appellate courts of Pennsylvania and other jurisdictions. He maintains a particular focus on cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme, Commonwealth and Superior Courts, including litigation involving state constitutional challenges, insurance insolvency and regulatory matters, Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law requests, government contracting and bid-protest disputes, complex commercial actions and many other types of civil cases.
