PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Fiduciary Governance Group Co-Chair George Michael Gerstein presented and moderated at the Fi360 National Conference on April 26 in San Diego. This conference “hosts over 750 investment professionals who are looking to grow their fiduciary knowledge base by participating in insightful learning sessions, innovative workshops and thought-provoking discussions.” Gerstein’s presentation, “ESG Considerations for ERISA Fiduciaries,” delved into the nuanced fiduciary issues surrounding this increasingly-popular investment approach.
George Michael Gerstein advises financial institutions on the fiduciary and prohibited transaction provisions of ERISA. As co-chair of the fiduciary governance group, he assists clients with tracking, and understanding, the numerous fiduciary developments at the federal and state levels, including the rules and regulations of governmental plans. He also advises clients with respect to the fiduciary duty implications of ESG investing.
