PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Chicago Attorney Nicole M. Kalajian served as a panelist at the 5th Annual joint NIBA/De Paul University symposium on August 8 in Chicago. Kalajian’s panel, “Cryptocurrency and Blockchain,” discussed the developing nature of cryptocurrencies, Chicago’s contributions and future in this market, and the regulatory framework applicable to cryptocurrencies, crypto-based futures contracts, and initial coin offerings (ICOs). Important custody considerations and the newly proposed disclosures by the National Futures Association (NFA) were also discussed.
