PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Michael J. Engle served as a moderator at the ABA’s Fifth Annual Blockchain, Digital Currency and ICO National Institute on April 26 in New York. Engle’s panel, “Initial Coin Offerings,” discussed the most recent developments with ICO’s, including how tokens are being reviewed for listing, how other countries are regulating ICO’s, and the most recent enforcement actions.

Engle, a member of Stradley Ronon’s securities litigation and enforcement practice group and the chair of the firm’s white-collar defense group, has more than 18 years of experience in federal criminal cases, complex white-collar defense matters, and internal or parallel investigations on behalf of corporations and other entities. He has represented white-collar defendants in complex, high-stakes federal and state prosecutions and has guided corporations and other organizations through the intricacies of government investigations. Engle has defended individuals and businesses in connection with grand jury subpoenas and in numerous jury trials. In recent years, Engle has developed a niche practice of defending against civil and/or criminal allegations relating to hazing conduct.
