PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Attorney Kristen Gibbons Feden served as a featured speaker at the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s 26th Annual Commission on Women in the Profession Conference on May 15 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Feden also presented, “Fireside Chat with Kristen Gibbons Feden,” which provided an in-depth discussion of the Bill Cosby case and its far-reaching effects on society. She shared her firsthand account of how the case and the surrounding publicity affected her personally and professionally; how publicity affects lawyers and prosecutors in general; how gender played a role in trying the case; and dealing with victim witnesses and whether there is a credibility gap relating to gender. Feden also discussed how victim behavior plays a role in credibility — all of which tie into the #MeToo movement.

Feden is a nationally acclaimed litigator and concentrates her practice on institutional responses to sexual and gender-based harassment and abuse, ethical concerns, discrimination, and other misconduct. She represents clients in general and complex litigation matters, including sexual harassment, employment discrimination, and Title IX and corporate regulatory compliance, as well as clients in the financial services industry.
