PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Attorney Karl S. Myers has been elected vice-chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Administrative Law Section. Myers was elected by the section’s membership on May 16, during the PBA’s annual meeting in Lancaster, PA.

The Administrative Law Section works to develop substantive and procedural improvements to the administrative laws of the Commonwealth. Its governing council has general supervision and control of the affairs of the section, including supervising the activities of its committees, approving all commitments and contracts and approving the section’s monetary expenditures.

Myers is a leading Pennsylvania appellate lawyer who has argued and briefed dozens of precedent-setting cases before the appellate courts of Pennsylvania and other jurisdictions. He maintains a particular focus on cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme, Commonwealth and Superior Courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, including litigation involving state constitutional challenges, appeals of state agency decisions, insurance insolvency and regulatory matters, Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law requests, government contracting and bid-protest disputes, complex commercial actions, and many other types of civil cases.
