Kalajian presented two webinars on the proposal from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to modernize the advertising and cash solicitation fee rules for investment advisers for Celesq® AttorneysEd Center and Washington DC Compliance Roundtable (WDCCRT).
Kalajian’s WDCCRT webinar took place on Dec. 18, and was titled, “Unpacking the SEC’s Proposed Amendments to the Advertising Rule and Solicitation Rule.” In this webinar, Kalajian joined Marina Baranovsky of Scitus Consulting, LLC, to explore the proposed amendments, as well as related amendments to the books and records rule and the Form ADV.
In her second webinar on Dec. 19, “The Proposed Advertising and Solicitation Rules – Game Changers for Advisers,” Kalajian provided a detailed overview of the SEC’s proposal, including its differences with respect to the current rule.
