Karl Myers Moderates Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court Candidates Forum

PHILADELPHIAKarl S. Myers, chair of Stradley Ronon’s appellate practice, moderated the Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts event “PA Commonwealth Court Candidates Forum” on April 19. The forum was co-sponsored by PMC, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the League of Women Voters PA, and the Dauphin County Library System. During the forum, candidates for Pennsylvania's Commonwealth Court answered questions about their experience and why they seek election to the Commonwealth Court.

Myers is a leading Pennsylvania appellate lawyer who has argued and briefed dozens of precedent-setting cases before the appellate courts of Pennsylvania and other jurisdictions. He maintains a particular focus on cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme, Commonwealth and Superior Courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, including appeals involving state constitutional challenges, state agency decisions, insurance insolvency and regulatory matters, Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law requests, government contracting and bid-protest disputes, complex commercial actions, and many other types of civil cases.
