Karl Myers Speaks at the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section Retreat

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Appellate Practice Group Chair Karl S. Myers served as a panelist during the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section Retreat on May 7. The panel, entitled “Inside View of Appellate Practice and Procedures,” also featured Judges Marjorie O. Rendell, Carolyn H. Nichols and Mary Hannah Leavitt as panelists. The group offered a behind-the-scenes look at the federal and state appellate courts, practice tips for briefs and oral argument, and comments on professionalism and civility among members of the bar.

Myers is a leading Pennsylvania appellate lawyer who has argued and briefed dozens of precedent-setting cases before the appellate courts of Pennsylvania and other jurisdictions. He maintains a particular focus on cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme, Commonwealth and Superior Courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, including appeals involving state constitutional challenges, state agency decisions, insurance insolvency and regulatory matters, Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law requests, government contracting and bid-protest disputes, complex commercial actions, and many other types of civil cases.
