Stradley Ronon Adds Two Litigation Associates

Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce two litigation associates David A. Doty, and Javier P. Gonzalez joined the firm.

“We are excited to welcome these talented litigators to Stradley,” said Michael D. O’Mara, partner and chair of the firm’s 65-attorney litigation department. “Both David and Javier have experience handling a wide range of litigation matters that will only enhance our ability to serve our growing list of clients.”

Doty advises commercial clients in a wide variety of state and federal litigation matters and represents businesses across an array of industries, including financial services, pharmaceutical, legal services, and gaming. He has handled matters involving the Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). He also represented and defended businesses in employment matters.

Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Doty was an associate at a national law firm based in Philadelphia. During law school, he served as a federal judicial clerkship honors intern to the Hon. C. Darnell Jones II and as a judicial clerkship honors intern to the Hon. C. Darnell Jones II and as a judicial intern to the Hon. Elizabeth T. Hey, both of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also was a member of the Temple Law Review, a student-edited, quarterly journal dedicated to providing a forum for the expression of new legal thought and scholarly commentary. He received his J.D. from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.

Gonzalez focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, representing corporate and institutional clients in a range of business litigation matters. Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Gonzalez was an assistant prosecutor at the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, where he initiated investigations that focused on high-level criminal targets and prosecuted those matters to verdict.

Gonzalez also gained valuable experience in law school as a senior intern for Hon. Michael A. Shipp, U.S. District Court of New Jersey, and a legal intern for the Hon. Joseph R. Rosa, Jr., Superior Court of New Jersey. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark and his B.S. from the University of Maryland. Upon graduation, Gonzalez served as a law clerk for the Hon. Terrence R. Cook, Superior Court of New Jersey.
