PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that the firm hosted an Insurtech Symposium developed jointly by St. Joseph’s University’s Maguire Academy of Risk Management and Insurance (ARMI) and the Spencer Education Foundation’s Digital Insights Lab on Wednesday, June 22, in Philadelphia, PA. Steven B. Davis, chair of Stradley Ronon’s insurance practice and ARMI Board Member, kicked off the event.
The program focused on current issues within Insurance Technology with speakers and panelists representing AM Best, BrokerTech Ventures, Connor Strong & Buckelew and several Insurtech startup firms. Sessions included Insurtech Landscape, Thoughts from a Rating Agency, Thoughts from the Distribution Business Broker Tech Ventures and Broker Tech Ventures Panel Discussion. David Buono, Deputy Insurance Commissioner, Office of Market Regulation of the Pennsylvania Insurance Department, was the featured speaker and Michael Angelina, Chairman of Hagerty, Inc. and ARMI Executive In Residence, gave the keynote address.
