Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is celebrated on November 1-2 each year in Mexico and around the world. Lety Covarrubias and Diana Mendez, co-chairs of Stradley Ronon’s Hispanic and Latin American engagement group, HOLA, hosted a presentation about traditional customs and practices surrounding the holiday.
As part of this presentation, lawyers and business professionals learned about ofrendas, traditional altars built to honor and commemorate deceased loved ones during the holiday, and embellished skull decorations in the style of traditional calaveras.
