SEC Could Clear CEFs’ Path to Private Equity – And Drag Boards In

Big changes may be ahead: The SEC indicated that they are considering expanding co-investment relief to better accommodate private equity in closed-end funds — a change that would make it easier to offer private equity strategies in ’40 Act products.
