Andreas N. Andrews

Overview

Andreas N. Andrews focuses his practice on tax issues related to corporate mergers and acquisitions. Andreas has experience reviewing partnership agreements including agreements related to renewable energy partnerships, private equity partnerships, and family partnerships. His experience also includes drafting opinions regarding substantive federal tax issues, including debt versus equity, disguised sales, noncompensatory partnership options, and partnership entity qualification.

Prior to joining Stradley, Andreas was a senior associate in the Washington National Tax Services office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Washington, D.C. Before PwC, Andreas practiced as a tax associate at an international law firm in Washington, D.C. Andreas also served as a judicial law clerk to The Hon. Kathleen Kerrigan of United States Tax Court.

He received his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross. Prior to law school, Andreas played professional soccer in Greece and England.
