Michael Cordone has, for more than 25 years, focused upon bankruptcy, workout, receiverships and creditors’ rights issues and litigation. He regularly represents banks, mutual funds, receivers and other creditors seeking to maximize their recoveries and minimize liability from “clawback” and avoidance claims in bankruptcy and Ponzi scheme cases. He is experienced in a wide array of industries, including manufacturing, investment, brokerage, health care, retail, energy, franchising, construction and real estate.   • represented a federal receiver overseeing a group of commodity hedge funds operated as a Ponzi scheme, successfully recovering and distributing more than $160 million to the investors. The representation included litigation in the U.S., Canada and the Cayman Islands
