Thomas Harris


Tom Harris focuses his practice on the corporate transactional and health care arenas. His mergers and acquisition experience include the manufacturing and service industries, while his health care practice includes health system affiliations, joint venture, contract structuring, and fraud and abuse compliance. Tom’s M&A transactions generally involve middle-market ($20 million to $300 million) mergers and acquisitions, many of which come to market through private auctions and involve complex provisions such as working capital adjustment, earn-out and indemnity provisions. Many of his transactions have involved the purchase or sale of business internationally. In connection with such transactional matters, Tom regularly advises and coordinates closings in the senior and mezzanine commercial lending areas. He has extensive experience working with investment bankers and closing transactions within an aggressive timeframe.
