Mac Laban


Mac Laban concentrates his practice on SEC and CFTC regulations and counsels clients on matters related to the Investment Company Act of 1940. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mac worked in market regulation at ICE Futures U.S., where he routinely analyzed trader and broker activity and investigated misconduct on ICE’s energy futures and options markets.

While in law school, Mac interned for a Fortune 500 investment management company and a proprietary trading firm. He also externed for the Illinois Attorney General’s Tax Crimes Unit, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the Hon. Thomas M. Durkin of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
