Richard Lynn is a seasoned litigator representing clients in state court, federal court, and arbitrations in a wide array of commercial disputes, with a focus on representing managed care payors and health benefit plans in litigation against healthcare providers and other entities in the healthcare industry. Richard’s healthcare litigation experience includes disputes involving the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA); out-of-network reimbursement; healthcare fraud, waste and abuse; prompt-pay penalties; out-of-network UCR (usual, customary and reasonable) disputes; civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) issues; and defending against challenges to reimbursement policies.
Richard also has experience defending individuals and companies in employment matters involving hiring, wage and hour, discrimination claims, noncompetes and terminations. He has also represented clients in cases related to breach of contract, construction and landlord-tenant disputes, trademark and copyright protection, government investigations, and dissolution proceedings and partnership disputes.
Richard is also on the roster of arbitrators who are available to hear disputes brought before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitration panel.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Richard served as a partner at an Am Law 100 firm, where he worked for over a decade.
