Joseph Torres focuses his practice on providing strategic counsel to public and private companies across a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, public finance, and real estate transactions. Joe also advises clients on government affairs compliance, structured financing, nonprofit scaling, and capital markets transactions across various industries.
Joe was a member of Stradley Ronon’s summer associate class. He was a legal intern at a medical malpractice law firm based in Philadelphia, where he conducted research, assisted with discovery and deposition preparation, and drafted motions and memoranda.
Prior to law school, Joe was chief of staff for a global multidimensional investment management and services firm in New York, where he developed standard operating procedures and managed day-to-day operations. He also was a legal intern with the New York Supreme Court for Dutchess and Orange counties.
