Michael Tang represents public and private companies on business and corporate transactional matters. His practice includes securitization, structured finance, and general corporate work.

Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Michael was a corporate tax associate at an international Big Four accounting firm in Philadelphia, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.

In The Community

As a leader in the diversity, equity and inclusion field, Michael serves on the Board of Directors of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (APABA-PA), co-chairs Stradley Ronon’s Asian Pacific American Resource Group, and served as the Diversity Committee Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Tax Section.


Michael formerly served on the board of directors of RSVP, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable populations in the local greater Philadelphia community by focusing on education and wellness and by supporting nonprofits through skill-based volunteer programs. RSVP’s 1,200 volunteers in the greater Philadelphia area serve over 11,000 community members each year.
