PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Ashley Shapiro presented to an audience of human resources professionals at the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey.

The presentation, “Internal Investigations: Avoiding Legal Pitfalls and Best Practices,” discussed the importance of conducting and managing internal investigations. Topics included risk assessment, confidentiality and privilege issues, gathering documentation and when to use outside legal counsel for assistance.

Shapiro focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and corporate compliance matters, and has significant experience across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Her work spans a range of sectors, including health care and life sciences, higher education, financial services and environmental and energy.
