Law360 reported that a Connecticut federal judge preliminarily approved a settlement requiring Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. to create an $18 million fund to resolve multiple lawsuits over a ransomware attack allegedly affecting over 5 million people.

In the article, senior counsel Bennett Picker, who helped negotiate the settlement, noted it is “fair, reasonable and adequate.”
