Stradley Ronon represented the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) with a redevelopment project in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. A 250-bed retreat house with 4.5 acres of beachfront views owned by IHM was demolished, and a new retreat house was constructed on a smaller lot allowing for the creation of 13 beach-block residential lots and a new street within the boundary of the original property. The sale of the high-profile lots provided funding for demolishing the existing building, creating a new retreat house and establishing an endowment to support the future needs of the congregation.

The Stradley Ronon team navigated the complex town zoning board requirements, received CAFRA permitting from the state Department of Environmental Protection, negotiated with the contractor, potential developers and residential lot buyers and resolved a dispute with the Borough of Stone Harbor regarding the developability of land adjacent to dunes.

Stradley Ronon represented Dotcom Distribution, the premier third-party logistics (3PL) provider and strategic growth partner for eCommerce brands in its acquisition by Ryder System, Inc., a leader in supply chain, dedicated transportation and fleet management solutions. The acquisition allows Ryder to expand its e-fulfillment portfolio with new industry offerings.

Stradley Ronon represented Crusoe Energy Systems, a Denver, CO-based a company that operates modular data centers that harness otherwise wasted and flared natural gas to power crypto, cloud computing and other data center operations, in connection with its acquisition of Easter-Owens, a manufacturer of modular data centers and specialized electrical systems. The acquisition will allow Crusoe, a pioneer of clean computing infrastructure that reduces both the costs and environmental impact of the world’s expanding digital economy, to manage manufacturing while adding new capabilities for rapid prototyping and data center systems innovation.

Stradley Ronon represented Triumph Aerostructures, LLC (a subsidiary of Triumph Group, Inc., the NYSE's 11th largest aerospace company by market cap) in the sale of its machining, processing and large-scale assembly business in Nashville, Tennessee, to subsidiaries of TECT Aerospace. The business generated revenues of approximately $125,000,000 during Triumph’s fiscal year ended March 31, 2019. The divestiture represents a significant step toward effectuating Triumph’s multi-year plan to reshape its portfolio, in order to enable investment in core businesses and pursuit of new growth opportunities.

Stradley Ronon represented Armstrong World Industries, Inc. in its acquisition of Architectural Components Group, Inc., an industry leader in custom wood ceilings and walls. AWI is a global leader in the design and manufacture of innovative commercial and residential ceiling, wall and suspension system solutions.

Stradley Ronon represented PennEngineering, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of precision fasteners, components, and installation systems for thin sheet attachment solutions, structural automotive fasteners and cable management systems, in its acquisition of Whitesell Formed Components and Whitesell Canada, two North American suppliers of engineered fasteners and complex production components.

Stradley Ronon represented ISWG LP in its multimillion-dollar acquisition of a 45-acre industrial site on the Delaware River just north of the Commodore Barry Bridge. The client is under common ownership with the operating entity, which operates an extensive warehousing and shipping company at the property. The transaction involved traditional financing through a commercial loan along with SBA financing.
