Closed-End Fund Activism

Stradley Ronon's Nicole Simon, partner and chair, alternative funds, is set to participate on a panel on November 20 during the Retail Alternatives and Closed-End Funds Conference, hosted in New York.

Nicole’s panel discussion will examine the SEC’s evolving approach to closed-end funds and retail access to private markets, highlighting the regulatory shifts and actions taken in 2025 — including co-investment relief and the removal of the 15% limitation for closed-end funds investing in private funds. The session will also address additional relief needed in this space and provide insight into the regulatory outlook for expanding private market access through 401(k) plans.
